【Customer Requests/Challenges】 - An automatic transport system that crosses over the worker passage is needed because the worker passage intersects in the middle of the production line. - We want to stop manual transport using carts and rolling transport through free fall. We want to reduce setup changes. → The cycle time is very fast, making it impossible to achieve with automatic single-piece transport. In a 3D conveyor, issues such as workpieces falling over occur, and managing production is difficult due to a large flow of work-in-progress that exceeds the line of sight. 【Proposal】 We propose a batch transport method where a chuck unit clamps multiple stacked bearing workpieces together. We will create an integrated transport system that includes one FCS unit assembled in a gantry configuration, along with loading equipment on the upstream side and unloading equipment on the downstream side, to be adopted as a high-level bearing high-speed transport device. 【Results After FCS Implementation】 The effort and time required to design and manufacture a complex three-dimensional transport device in-house were eliminated, significantly reducing the implementation costs. Unlike the 3D conveyor, the issue of work-in-progress remaining overhead was resolved, improving production management. We present a case of transporting a covered bucket from a low position to the machine inlet using an FCS equipped with a highly flexible carrier (running cart).

【Customer Requests/Challenges】 - While automatic transportation of powder materials mainly uses screw conveyors and vacuum (air) conveyors, we want to transport using bucket-type systems to adjust the transport volume and avoid wear and damage to the powder particles. - To prevent the raw materials from being exposed to external air, we want to equip the system with buckets that have automatically opening and closing lids. - We want to specify the weight of the powder and the transport cycle for transportation. - When switching between different raw materials, we would like it to be easy to change the buckets. 【Results After Implementing FCS】 By introducing the FCS-H300, which can equip the carrier (transport cart) with buckets that have lids, we have successfully met all the above requests.
